I have to say at first I felt I took a big risk booking through a Cairo travel agent that I had never heard of before However, I would like to take the opportunity of thanking you for a most enjoyable holiday.
Your staff were most professional, helpful and friendly. The tour guides were excellent. The drivers drove safely and thoughtfully and were a lot of fun as well.
We learned so much during our stay and as a result have a great appreciation for the richness of your culture and history and not just your marvellous tourist attractions. Learning about your culture was the most precious part of our journey. It is a trip we will never forget.

We booked our overday tour from Cairo to Luxor months before heading overseas. We hoped that the tour would be as described and live up to the positive testimonials we had read on your site, We are delighted to report that the day was all that we had hoped for and more...We were met at our hotel on time (at 4.30am), and from this point onwards everything went as smooth as clockwork. We were escorted all the way, including right up to airport check-in, then greeted in Luxor by our personal guide for the day, Mansour. He gave us his undivided attention all day, offering a wealth of knowledge on the sites we were visiting. He also suggested 'traditional' shopping options without pressuring us to purchase while also highlighting the difference between the fake and genuine articles. He gave constant consideration to our personal comfort ie seeking shade where ever possible. The quality of the restaurant lunch provided was a pleasant surprise and in all we couldn't fault the 'big' day. There seemed to be a cast of thousands involved in ensuring that our day was a success and they all did a very professional job. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone with limited time who wished to experience all that Luxor has to offer. Thank You very much to all involved!!!

I apologise for being so slow in entering comments about our wonderful trip to Egypt. I visited in September 2008 and enjoyed the most amazing experience of a lifetime in booking through Egypthighlights. The early information provided, the guides and drivers were all excellent value and took great care of us at all times. We felt safe and were pleased not to just visit the sights for tourists but life itself in Egypt. Thank you Walaa for all your expertise in handling our wonderful trip to Egypt. I would love to come again and have recommended your company to anyone I know who is travelling to Egypt. Once again my apologies for not sending this through earlier. Life at home caught up with us. I sent you some pictures taken last spring April, 2009 of my husband Doug, myself and our daughter Kristen. Our daughter lives in Dubai and we are from Canada.
You arranged a 2 day visit in Cairo and a 5 day Nile cruise that we loved!
Our trip was amazing, and our guides and drivers were the best!
The Egyptian knowledge of your guides was so amazing. They showed us and taught us so much about the history of your country. We fell in love with Egypt!
Our son is going to Cairo in a few weeks and I know he will feel the same.

I have recently returned from holiday in Egypt. I have no complaints against the holiday. But I was extremely saddened and concerned at the cruelty to the Carriage Horses and Donkeys, which was thrust upon us on venturing out of the hotel. The cultural shock was unbelievable. We expected the poverty, which hopefully tourism is now helping, but nothing appears to be being done about the cruelty.
The Hotel Rep. was very helpful and informative. Unfortunately though did not say anything about how to deal with the persistence of the carriage drivers and how to help these unfortunate creatures.
The English are supposedly a nation of animal lovers and have helped to stop cruelty, through publicity in other countries.
After reading your article on Responsible Tourism, I wondered if you could add something to make people aware of their plight, helping the animals would also help the people
Also could the Holiday Rep spare a few minutes in the welcome meetings to say a few words. I have enclosed a helpful guide, taken from a welcome brochure, which explains simply how we can help them. Other holidaymakers I spoke to said that it would have prepared them for the cultural shock and helped in how to handle these people.
I have also enclosed a small poster, plus details of The Ace Charity, that run the Brooke Animal Hospitals in Egypt. If this could be displayed. so if anybody was interested, they could find out more.

Animal Welfare
As a visitor to Egypt you can improve the welfare of the
working horses and donkeys, by following these simple
guidelines.
Match your size to that of the animal.
Do not overloadacarriage, maximum of 3 adults
Do not accept excuses for thin, lame or badly treated horses,
Pay a fair price for the ride, or animal and owner will have to
work even harder to earn a living
Give praise to any that appear well looked after
Do not let the driver use a whip
Never take a ride on a long journey; some animals have died
from exhaustion
Try to avoid the mid day sun, as animals do suffer from
sunstroke
By doing this, you are showing that we will not condone cruelty

On our Egypt Tour and Nile Cruise that went from Nov. 25, 2009 to Dec. 4, 2009 we had an extremely wonderful time. We booked through Travel agency in Canada and they always do a wonderful job organizing tours.
The representatives, guides, and drivers your company provided were extremely professional and courteous at all times. The information you provided about Egypt upon arrival was extremely helpful, especially the extra activities and tipping information. When touring in a foreign country one of the most difficult things to know is how much to tip each individual you deal with. The information about walking around the streets was extremely helpful also. We tried to learn a few Arabic words but our foreign language skills are minimal at best.
The two guides you provided had a real love for Egypt and it's history. This was evident anytime they spoke with us about the sites we visited. We learned alot about Egypt present and past from these two gentlemen. The guides also provided a lot of good information about places to buy some good quality gifts. They were very flexible, able to change the schedule on the fly to make sure we saw and did everything we were scheduled to do and at the same time help us with any extra activities we wanted to do.
The sites were beautiful, the camel ride was fun, and the Nile cruise was very relaxing. We really enjoyed our time in Egypt, met many interesting people and would very much like to visit again as there are still a lot of things to see and learn. If we do visit we would certainly use Egypt Highlights as this was one of the most organized and helpful tour groups I have ever met. Thanks again for a wonderful time, you all were the best.

These guys were just fantastic! Did everythig for us, took us everywhere and got us on to the plane at the end so we didn't have to negotiate ourselves through hundreds of people at Cairo airport! Great tour guides too - very amenable and knowledgabel.

This was my second trip to Egypt but the first for my teen-aged son. It was meant to be an introduction to the iconic monuments and landscapes of the country and his mom and I were hoping that, brief as it was, it might stimulate his growing interest in other cultures. Your team organized and executed a marvelous adventure, impeccable in every key detail from being on time for all the "pickups" to answering with exemplary patience our most inane questions on each of our many tours. We'll be back shortly!
